‘This edition is titled ‘forever temporary’, to pay a tribute to all the places we’ve had to say our goodbyes to and to honour the lost nightlife of Rotterdam.’

In developing the visuals for Weelde it was important for me to capture the theme of ‘forever temporary’. To me just like many cultural places in Rotterdam, nature as well is growing through and around the concrete of the city. Thriving even in the most unimaginable places.
